The Alameda Pirate Girls Soccer team took to the pitch on Wed. March 29th. The Pirates were playing the first high school game on the schools new turf. What started as a warm day, quickly turned windy and cold on the new pitch. The Pirates found themselves tied 1-1 at half and then down 2-1 with thirty minutes left in the second half. That is when the scoring explosion happened. The Pirates scored 3 goals to take control over district rival Jefferson, winning the game 4-2! Congratulations Pirates!
