Alameda Pirate Baseball win 1st Annual Wood Bat Tournament!
The Alameda Pirate Baseball team started the season with three straight wins in the 1st Annual Wood Bat Tournament. The Pirates opened the tournament with a 11-1 victory of Denver West. Isaiah Trujillo tossed 10 strikeouts against the Cowboys from Denver West. They followed that up with a 16-0 win against Jeffco district rival Arvada. The Arvada game included a complete game no-hitter for Sophomore Angel Arroyo. The Pirates finished off the tournament with a 6-5 win over Middle Park in the Championship Game!
